Workshop in Sashiko with Takao Momiyama
Welcome to a workshop with artist and designer Takao Momiyama. Since his graduation at Konstfack, Momiyama has worked with textile materials and techniques. More than ten years ago, he began to work on the Japanese sewing technique sashiko. Sashiko is based on simple stitches that have traditionally been used to mend clothes and textiles in more or less advanced designs.
