Creative Spring Break is for you between 7-13 years old. We will look at and talk about ongoing art and design exhibitions at Vandalorum and work with different techniques. Sign up for one or more days!
Tuesday 10/2, 1 am-3 pm
We experience the exhibition GDR: the Traces of Escape; in Landscape, Body and Memory by architect and artist Petra Gipp. We also look at images of architect-designed buildings and artworks, and then build our own small high-rise buildings using, among other things, sticks.
Wednesday 11/2, 1 am-3 pm
Inspired by Masayoshi Oya’s exhibition Tales of the Hand, we create our own objects in clay.
Thursday 12/2, 1 am-3 pm
We draw inspiration from both the photography on view in the exhibitions in Barn 3, as well as portraits from the Småland Art Archive collection. We then create our own portraits using painting and collage.
