Now we wake up the sleeping snake! A long time ago, under the soil of Småland, a snake fell asleep — created by worries, whispers and dreams... Now it is beginning to wake up — and it needs new guardians. Are you ready to become a myth maker and help bring this magical creature to life?

In this workshop, children and young people get to step into an imaginative world and create their own creatures. Together with artists and dancers, we use movement, stories and play to bring the snake to life and transform our clouds of worry into something strong and alive.

Worry Animals is a participatory based artwork by designer Prachi Patil & WRECK Collective (Robert Ssempijja, Moa Matilda Sahlin, Adey, Destiny Af Kleen, Nea Landin and Khamlane Halsackda). Together with children and adults in Värnamo, we create a living, growing Worry Animals — a sculpture that carries our worries and transforms them into resilience, play and collective imagination.
