To finish the exhibition Kristina Torsson From Mah-Jong to Vamlingbo, we invite you to an exclusive workshop with textile artist and clothing designer Kristina Torsson.

For more than six decades, Torsson has worked to spread beauty to many by designing simple, comfortable and functional garments in strong colour schemes and timeless patterns. During the workshop you will have the opportunity to try different techniques such as tesserration, silhouette cutting, simple kirigami, flat screen printing and drawing to create your own pattern, as well as to make a pattern report, together with Kristina Torsson. For inspiration, we use Torsson's rich patterned treasure, as well as plants and seed pods from Vandalorum's garden. You will also learn how to make a Japanese braid from fabric waste from Vamlingbolaget.
