On May 23rd at 2:00 PM, the exhibition Aino & Alvar Aalto opens in Vandalorum's Form barn! The exhibition will be inaugurated by museum director Elna Svenle in the presence of collector Pertti Männistö and Eeva Holkeri, exhibition manager at Kunsthalle Helsinki. Refreshments will be served.

Vandalorum will be open until 5 PM on the opening day.

The exhibition features Aino Marsio-Aalto and Alvar Aalto, one of the 20th century's most significant couples in design and architecture. They worked as equal partners, developing a design language that wove together soft organic forms with functionality and sustainability. The exhibition includes over 300 of their iconic objects – furniture, glass, lighting fixtures, and unique prototypes – sourced from collector Pertti Männistö's private Aalto collection, the largest of its kind in the world.

The exhibition is based on Kunsthalle Helsinki's Aallot — Aino and Alvar Aalto through the Collector's Eye(2022) and AALTO Aino & Alvar at Millesgården Museum (2025-26).
