Creative Autumn Break is for you between 7-13 years old. We will look at and talk about ongoing art and design exhibitions at Vandalorum and work with different techniques. Sign up for one or more days!
Monday 27/10, 1 am-3 pm
We explore architect Petra Gipp’s exhibition Traces of Escape and get inspired to design and build our own small houses in imaginative shapes.
Tuesday 28/10, 1 pm-3 pm
Inspired by all the colorful fabrics and clothes in the exhibition Kristina Torsson: From Mah-Jong to Vamlingbo, we create our own patterns. We print on fabric and paper using stamps that we make ourselves.
Wednesday 29/10, 10 am-12 pm + 1 pm-3 pm
Together with exhibiting artist Petra Lindholm, we work on creating images using textiles. We also experiment with the sounds of singing bowls and tuning forks, which share the same frequency as the Earth. Which tones harmonize with the textile landscapes?
