During the workshop, we will talk about a beloved garden or another place in nature that has meant a lot to us. We will use sheer fabrics in various colors and textures, gluing them onto panels to create beautiful images that can bring memories of these places to life.
We will also use singing bowls and tuning forks to see if they add anything to the experience. Sound and music are important elements in Petra's art. We will also watch one of her films, which is based on fascinating stories about her grandfather's sister, where a specific landscape takes center stage.
Petra Lindholm (b. 1973) lives and works outside Älmhult.
This workshop is part of Vandalorum's project Rich in Years, funded by the Kamprad Family Foundation, which aims to improve the quality of life and enrich the everyday lives of elderly people in need throughout Småland by making art and design accessible.
