We are exploring Lars Tunbjörk’s exhibition Country Beside Itself, featuring photographs from the 1980s and 90s, a time when he traveled around capturing everyday subjects with a blend of humor and melancholy. Afterward, we will create our own images on the theme of everyday life using simple collage techniques.

The tour and workshop are tailored to the group's needs and held at a relaxed pace. They can also be adapted for people living with dementia. The workshop can be booked by residential care homes, community centers, and day activity centers for seniors. This activity is free of charge.

This workshop is part of Vandalorum’s project Rich in Years, funded by the Kamprad Family Foundation, which aims to improve the quality of life and enrich the everyday lives of seniors in need across Småland by making art and design more accessible.

Vandalorum, a museum for art and design in Värnamo, has extensive experience in developing specialized educational projects for seniors.
