Bilden visar utställningen med Richard Johansson.
In the Johansson universe, the viewer can feel a sense of belonging and empathy with the world around him. No one is better than anyone else. Richard Johansson's art creates a conviction and an acceptance that life is nothing less than a freakshow in which we are all equal before the God that supposedly does not exist.

With deep seriousness and wild humour, Richard Johansson grapples with the big questions of who we are and where we are really going. The mood is usually jovial and folksy, but there are also darker sides where the artist highlights uncomfortable contemporary contexts. The references and people gallery can be odd as well as all-purpose. No one goes safe and everything is of interest in the picture room environments.

In the exhibition at the Småland Art Archive in Vandalorum, Richard Johansson shows works from three decades of creation. Through the deposit of a large number of works from intuitions and private collectors, the audience is given the opportunity to follow the artistic process over time. Among older and new works, sculptures, paintings and installations are displayed in the exhibition hall, and Johansson's rolling museum trolley is displayed in the courtyard of Vandalorum Folk Art Museum.
